"ANGLOPHONE CAMEROON IS A MINORITY AND CANNOT VOTE FOR YOU TO WIN THIS SHOW" 😮
It's time for Anglophone Cameroonians to prove a point.
Muma Emmanuel is an anglophone from the North West region of #Cameroon . Surprisingly, he is the only Cameroonian representing Cameroon at this year's "secret story Africa". He is not good in French but had a secret story that impressed everyone for him to be selected.
When the show started, one of the contestants outrightly told him that he cannot win the show because English speaking Cameroonians are a minority and cannot vote for him to win the reality TV show.
Tonton Emma speaks broken French but has been so brave and interesting throughout the show. That's the reason why he made it to the finals.
Should anglophones accept defeat or defend their pride by making sure Tonton Emma emerges victorious? The ball is in your court.
V0ting takes place everyday. Tonton Emma is in the finals and might just emerge victorious of you run the numbers up for him. The L!nk :

🫶Happy International Reggae Day Rastafari🫶
🎶🎼💚💛❤️🎼🎶💚💛❤️🎶🎼💚💛❤️🎼🎶

History on the International Reggae Day 💚💛❤️
Andrea Davis of Jamaica Arts Holdings founded International Reggae Day. Her 1991 visit to Kingston inspired her to start the annual event. During Davis’ visit, she heard a speech made by the South African leader, Winnie Mandela. He discussed the impact reggae music had as people in South Africa fought for equal rights during Apartheid. The first International Reggae Day was held on July 1st, 1994.

July 1 celebrates International Reggae Day on the National Day Calendar. This National Day celebrates reggae culture and its influence on Jamaican music.

Reggae developed in the 1960s and evolved into a popular style of music. With its roots in Jamaica, Reggae music is an integral part of the Jamaican culture. It is a mix of rhythm & blues, calypso, African, and Latin American music.

July 1 celebrates International Reggae Day on the National Day Calendar. This National Day celebrates reggae culture and its influence on Jamaican music.

A heavy four-beat rhythm characterizes reggae music. These beats are carried out by drums, congas, bass guitars, and electric guitars. Another popular instrument in reggae music is the scraper. A scraper is a corrugated stick that the musician rubs with a plain stick.

By the 1970s, reggae music became known around the world. The style of music was especially popular in the United States, Great Britain, and Africa. Many people say that reggae music serves as a voice for the oppressed.

Some of the greatest reggae songs of all time include:

“No Woman, No Cry” by Bob Marley and the Wailers
“Funky Kingston” by Toots & the Maytals
“Montego Bay” by Freddie Notes & the Rudies
“Many Rivers to Cross” by Jimmy Cliff
“The Tide is High” by the Paragons
“Red Red Wine” by UB40
“I Shot the Sherriff” by Bob Marley and the Wailers
“Revolution” by Dennis Brown
“Love is My Religion” by Ziggy Marley
“Hold Me Tight” by Johnny Nash
Bob Marley and the Wailers are considered the most iconic reggae artists ever and are credited for bringing reggae music to the international stage.

Every year on July 1, Kinston, Jamaica, hosts the International Reggae Festival. Around the world, cities also hold Reggae concerts in celebration of the day. Some of these cities include The Bahamas, South Africa, Kenya, Brazil, the United Kingdom, and Columbia.

Don’t despair if no reggae concerts are in your area on this day, you can still participate. Listen to reggae music. Search for reggae videos online. Watch a documentary, such as Reggae: The Story of Jamaican Music or Roots, Reggae, Rebellion.

Nigerian singer Omah Lay has been declared WANTED in America after an insider reported his plans to the auth0rities ‼️

This is what happened 👇

Omah Lay went to America to record some songs. While in the studio recording, the room temperature became very hot, and everyone had to run outside and jump into a pool to cool down.

After the studio session, a person he was recording with approached Omah Lay to ask him some questions. Omah Lay revealed that his next album is ready and will be dropping in a few months. Upon hearing this, the person asked Omah Lay to play the album for him. As Omah Lay started playing, the entire city suddenly became hot.

Neighbors noticed the situation and repōrted him to the auth0rities, and now the US pōlice are currently trying to locate Omah Lay and prevent him from releasing this album, fering it may contribute to serious global warming.

If you see Omah Lay anywhere, kindly repōrt him to us and get a cash reward of $1 million dollars.

We are not ready for the heat the next Omah Lay album is coming with 🔥🔥🇳🇬

“Even The GRAMMY AWARDS We So Much Value Is Also A Local Award To The Americans, So Let's Respect Our TGMA Too” ~ Stonebwoy
👇
Stonebwoy, the reigning Artist Of The Year at the just-ended TGMA, during a conversation with Berla Mundi, admonished Africans, narrowly Ghanaians, to treat their local awards with the same respect they treat GRAMMY AWARDS and other Foreign schemes.

According to him, despite the grand exposure those schemes seem to have garnered, they're equally seen as local to the citizens of the countries they operate.

Citing the GRAMMYS that everyone reveres as an example, he said it is equally a local scheme to Americans just as TGMA is to Ghanaians.

He disclosed that even though he wasn't in good health during the night of the awards, he had to muster perseverance to be present due to the value he attaches to Ghanaian schemes.

"If we don't value them, who else will do", he concluded.

#Promozik : Meet GASHA ,the first Cameroonian artiste to shake Africa with a song that she ended up gaining $0 from it.

You cannot talk about a hit song without mentioning an artist like #Gasha . One of the biggest songs in Cameroon, "Be Proud," which featured many stars, was spiced up by the almighty Gasha.

Another song featuring Tzy Panchak was also spiced up by Gasha. Gasha has appeared in many songs, and all of these songs have become hits.

Her voice alone is magical, her lyrics are intentional, and they penetrate deep into the heart. Gasha is a treasure that everyone needs to hold very tight. If Gasha were out of this country, she could have filled the O2 Arena in no time.

Let's celebrate Gasha while she is here because she deserves it.

Soup "Nkui et Couscous Maïs, Légumes" - Cameroon Recipe 😋😍

"Nkui" soup is a traditional Bamileke recipe (from West region Cameroon) prepared on the occasion of the birth of child and served to the mother. She must consume it for at most 30 days and another family members can also eat. This dish is therefore precious for the traditions of the Bamileke community (Western Cameroon).

The "Nkui" soup can be eaten with yellow or white corn fufu. The food is eaten with the hands. 😋

TODAY, most families find it difficult to respect this tradition due to the high cost of living in our society. Commodities are too expensive in our markets with people earning very very low monthly incomes. Thus, causing unhealthy living for breastfeeding mothers. 😥

.....HAVE YOU EVER EATEN "NKUI" ??
.... ARE YOU FROM THE WEST REGION 🇨🇲??
... ARE YOU MARRIED TO A WEST WOMEN??
.. WHAT IS YOUR FAVOURITE 🇨🇲 RECIPE????

"We Must Go to West Africa(🇳🇬🇬🇭l🇱🇷🇸🇱🇬🇲...) Akumba Music will punch harder into that market" - Achu Normad.

The founder & CEO of Akumba Music, Achu Normad encourages investors in the entertainment industry to target the west African entertainment industry.

He writes 👇
"We Must Go to West Africa!!! Watch my ***** e for the next 6-12 months, Akumba Music will punched harder into that market in an attempt to connect our English Community to it. We must go west!!!

For years, our artist went towards French Africa but it has proven not to be sustainable. This is because the entertainment culture is NOT our culture and we don’t even speak the language. We have had to adapt and ended up losing creativity in the process.

Also, Central Africa doesn’t have the financial infrastructure to support modern day commerce hence the discouraging return on investments. There’s some kind of a blood sucking grip on the banking and financial systems in Francophone Africa, not permitting it to grow and innovate.

Wuna want stream music na with Momo or OM ?
While kids like Asake, Ruger and Buju are making billions of Naira in streams, Leo is here trying to sell his album with Momo 😭
How will he get a ROI when he can’t even perform transactions. He’s handicapped even before the race begins.

On the other hand, The Nigerian market has the infrastructure to sell digital content. The highly innovative banking system in Nigeria is really robust and makes digital transactions very suitable, highly preferred, leaving EVERYONE being required to get a bank account and debit card.

This means everyone can subscribe and stream content digitally. Imagine a giant market with a potential of 50 million Spotify users, this means every upcoming artist hits the ground running with 100k monthly listeners. This is the real power of the Nigerian entertainment industry apart from its obvious high population.

To top it all, we can completely relate with Nigeria. Our region was once Nigeria for almost 50 years. We are Geographically close, speak the same official language and share cultural values. Content from West Africa has programmed us for decades.

We grew up listening to P Square, Style plus, 2 face, Timaya, Flavor, Banki W, Bracket etc. These songs programmed us and defined our urban music sound.

That’s why our community only listens to Afrobeats and we can breed pure afrobeats prodigies like Elisha k and Raizy. Also, Our movie industry is programmed by Nollywood, that is why the death of a Nollywood actor will completely hijack our Facebook feeds for days.

Equally, praise and worship in Our Churches has been completely programmed by Nigerian Gospel. Infact delete Naija Gospel from our churches and church service may not hold that Sunday.

My Point is, our community is culturally linked to West Africa and it’s even better because that’s the market that’s driving global showbiz. So, we must complete migrate to that Market.

When Salas and Leo started with that dream team from Buea, if they had gone towards west Africa instead of coming to Douala, I think we should have had better returns from them.

Today, Krys M gets 40 million views on a song on YouTube but over 75% of those views generate her Zero income because they are from Non-monetized Central Africa.

She gets 40million on a song but can’t even get 50k monthly listeners on Spotify, because she resides in a region which doesn’t even have a payment processing system to permit her fans to get a Spotify account and make her rich. It’s Quite unfortunate but that’s the reality in Francophone Africa.

We MUST GO To WEST AFRICA" - Achu Normad.

"I dîdn't make money for women and no man should allow woman exploît them. My son's mother was just feeling entitled to my money . I was giving her $500k a year, but she was still expecting more. Then I decided to make her see that I was only doing her a favor. So I took myself to côurt and ręported myself for giving child support way above average. Then it was decided in court that I should only give her $6700 a month and I can't add a penny on that because she can also get a job. 🟥 Problem between the artists #Gasha and #Eddykenzo .🚨

After I texted Eddy Kenzo telling him to give GASHA her royalties on her song #chill , his team reach out to me on WhatsApp and this is what they got to say 👇

"It was around 2014 or 2015(the prime times of Sitya Loss) when Eddy Kenzo met a young and talented Cameroonian lady called Gasha, her team approached him and requested that they should do a song which was agreed upon. However he was in dallas where he had to fly from to Washington for the recording, we extended his stay and the $1k her and the team paid that we hear in the accusations was for the extension of his flight because his return back home was due (he definitely had to push his stay for a sister), obviously there’s no agreement that involves money that can go undocumented, the 1k was to pay for the extension of Eddy Kenzo’s stay and for your information Eddy Kenzo’s brand was never worth 1k. Long story short, they hit the studio, vibes were high and a song called chill was created. Everyone wrote their lyrics and joined the knowledge to make sure we put out something nice that can help boost Gasha’s career.

In 2015 our team and our manager who doubles as a videographer, flew to Cameroon(at our own cost) to shoot the Chill video which was shot and directed by our manager(Martin Beta) and Chuzzi Dadido of Cameroon it was all good vibes and later that evening as we were all vibing to the song at Gasha’s home we talked about how the song will be released and it was agreed that since Eddy Kenzo has a big fanbase(numbers) this song should be released on his channel on 25th feb, 2015 and later on then coming album called Zero To Hero(which was released on 1st march, 2016) a year after she had distributed on her other streaming platforms(her release date is 3rd March 2015), we did so with one heart all in the name of helping a sister.

We had a great evening as a family and we called it a night. On our return to Uganda our manager went back with the footage we had shot and edited the video(it was all for brotherhood he wasn’t paid) we made sure it was the right video of that time and released it as agreed.

We thank God that it actually made an impact in Gasha’s career as it was the motive of the song.

It is so sad this was a verbal agreement and today it looks like her word against ours , it is now that we wish we had a written agreement.

We have been following accusations for the past 1 year and kept quiet because we thought our sister knows the truth and that all will be well and there was no need for any exchange of words, but it seems we were wrong.

However, this is all we have to say about this project and we maintain our position that we ain’t gonna exchange any words with a sister over a project that came to life with the aim of boosting a career. And we shall not fall for any blackmails attached to the accusations.

Big Talent Entertainment Management".

Not everyone would agree with Floyds assessment of himself.
Iron Mike was once quite vocal about Mayweathers remarks about Ali.

He responded with ...
Mike TYSON:"🗣He's very delusional, Listen, if he was anywhere near that realm of great as Muhammad Ali, he'd be able to take his kids to school by himself."OK, he can't take his kids to school by himself, and he's talking about he's great?
