Muma Emmanuel is an anglophone from the North West region of #Cameroon . Surprisingly, he is the only Cameroonian representing Cameroon at this year's "secret story Africa". He is not good in French but had a secret story that impressed everyone for him to be selected.

Donc, je revis tout ce voyage, je l'écoute chanter et je me souviens de ce qu'il traversait à ce moment-là. Et je suis juste sa petite sœur, toujours à ses côtés et je suis son soutien. Cela a toujours été mon rôle », se souvient-elle à la BBC.

A British sailor removes the leg chains off an enslaved man who had worn them for three years, 1907
This photograph shows a sailor removing the manacle from a newly freed slave. The picture is part of a small collection donated by Samuel Chidwick to the Royal Naval Museum in Portsmouth. His father Able Seaman Joseph Chidwick, born in 1881, was serving aboard HMS Sphinx.
The Africans featured in the photos escaped in a canoe from a slave-trading village on the coast on hearing that the Royal Navy ship was in the area.
In his report dated 15th October 1907, Commander Litchfield wrote that the ship received ‘six fugitives’ on a cruise off the Batineh Coast, Oman between 10th and 14th October. One of the fugitives had been manacled for three years and had escaped with his leg irons still on.

LOCKO de son nom civil Charles Arthur Locko Samba, né le 8 mai 1992 à Douala, est un chanteur, auteur-compositeur et beatmaker camerounais de RnB et d'afropop. Il se fait connaître en diffusant sur le site de partage de vidéos YouTube, un grand nombre de reprises de chansons populaires. Il est le premier camerounais à lancer une chaîne Youtube de covers. À l'époque, il évolue sous le pseudonyme de Shawmey Locko.
•En 2014, il rejoint le label Big Dreams Entertainmentet enregistre sa première chanson Perfect Girl en collaboration avec le chanteur camerounais Numerica . En 2015, il abandonne « Shawmey » pour se faire appeler désormais simplement Locko, nom sous lequel il signe alors son premier single solo intitulé Margo. En 2017, iI est présenté comme la révélation RnB camerounaise de l'année par le magazine français Paris Match. En juin 2018, il rejoint l'écurie d'Universal MusicAfrica. En février 2023, il signe un contrat d'édition et de distribution avec Sony Music Africa et Columbia France. Aujourd'hui, il est considéré comme l'une des plus belles voix du Cameroun voire d'Afrique francophone.

•En 2014, il rejoint le label Big Dreams Entertainmentet enregistre sa première chanson Perfect Girl en collaboration avec le chanteur camerounais Numerica . En 2015, il abandonne « Shawmey » pour se faire appeler désormais simplement Locko, nom sous lequel il signe alors son premier single solo intitulé Margo. En 2017, iI est présenté comme la révélation RnB camerounaise de l'année par le magazine français Paris Match. En juin 2018, il rejoint l'écurie d'Universal MusicAfrica. En février 2023, il signe un contrat d'édition et de distribution avec Sony Music Africa et Columbia France. Aujourd'hui, il est considéré comme l'une des plus belles voix du Cameroun voire d'Afrique francophone.
