Andrea Davis of Jamaica Arts Holdings founded International Reggae Day. Her 1991 visit to Kingston inspired her to start the annual event. During Davis’ visit, she heard a speech made by the South African leader, Winnie Mandela. He discussed the impact reggae music had as people in South Africa fought for equal rights during Apartheid. The first International Reggae Day was held on July 1st, 1994.

Reggae developed in the 1960s and evolved into a popular style of music. With its roots in Jamaica, Reggae music is an integral part of the Jamaican culture. It is a mix of rhythm & blues, calypso, African, and Latin American music.

Fondé en 1953, par le patriarche Yaya Sydi Oumara,, c'est une mosaïque ethnique, un métissage culturel accueillant, luxuriant avec une curiosité architecturale, une mosaïque constituée de cases rondes construitent par les hommes et décorées par les femmes.Idool, c'est aussi une merveille touristique arrosée par quatre chutes ( Idool, mayo tapare, guebadi et tamulde), le tout protégé par le lac "Cameroun" aux allures de la carte du Cameroun.

📌Dans la perspective de conduire à bien cette mission, E4Impact Foundation et son partenaire JFN Center lancent un appel à candidatures pour le recrutement de 𝟐𝟎 𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐞𝐬 𝐟𝐞́𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬 en vue de leur accélération au sein de l’accélérateur Jfn-It - E4Impact Center Douala du Cameroun.

📌Dans la perspective de conduire à bien cette mission, E4Impact Foundation et son partenaire JFN Center lancent un appel à candidatures pour le recrutement de 𝟐𝟎 𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐞𝐬 𝐟𝐞́𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬 en vue de leur accélération au sein de l’accélérateur Jfn-It - E4Impact Center Douala du Cameroun.
🎯𝐂𝐫𝐢𝐭è𝐫𝐞𝐬 𝐝𝐞 𝐬é𝐥𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧
-Être officiellement enregistré depuis deux (2) ans minimum
-Être une société Camerounaise détenue par une ou des femme(s) Camerounaise(s)
-Parler français / anglais
-Être en activité depuis deux (2) ans au moins
-Produire une attestation de non redevance datant de moins de trois (3) mois
-Avoir au minimum cinq (5) employés
-Intervenir dans un des secteurs à fort impact social et environnemental.
