Her world opened up in 2011 when her event was included at the All Africa Games in Maputo, this time for real. She attended and finished with silver🥈 in shot put.
Fired on from there, she trained for the 2015 African Championships where she hit gold🥇 in shot put, with a world record of 7.59 metres, and silver in discus throw.
Matching on, she proceeded to the Doha🇶🇦 2015 International Paralympic Championships to win Gold🥇 (the only medal for Nigeria and also increased her world record to 7.72 metres).

Curiously, Lauritta and her coach, Patrick Anaeto, were not invited to the party nor given neither recognition nor reward.
Lauritta Onye was saddened with the disregard. It could have discouraged her from further involvement in sports but she was in love and also has great mental strength and resilience.
2. After the Paralympic team returned from Rio, her home state government, Imo, showered the medalists from there with cash and car gifts but Lauritta was excluded, for the reason that she resides in Lagos.

But her coaches submitted an appeal to the judges. A leap called a Gogean was not originally credited by the judges. After the Team USA coaches submitted the inquiry, Chiles was awarded an extra tenth of a point on her routine for having completed the leap.
That extra tenth of a point moved her from 5th to 3rd in the standings, and earned her a bronze medal, leading to a rush of emotion from Chiles, who joined her teammate Simone Biles on the medal stand.

Elle rêve dans son enfance d’une carrière artistique en tant que chanteuse. Finalement, elle s'intéressera au monde du théâtre. En 2002, elle abandonne ainsi ses études et participe durant deux années à des ateliers de théâtre à la Maison des Jeunes et de la Culture de Douala, dirigée par Théodore Kayesse. Puis elle suit plusieurs formations en jeu d’acteur et en écriture avec des metteurs en scène ou auteurs reconnus tels que les français Federick Fisback, Catherine Boskowitz et Roland Fichet, ainsi que le camerounais Martin Ambara .
• Débuts de carrière
En 2002, elle entame sa carrière par le théâtre et pendant une dizaine d'années, elle incarne différents rôles dans plusieurs pièces de théâtre[4]. Elle participe à de nombreux festivals en Afrique centrale et Afrique de l’Ouest en tant que comédienne. Elle remporte notamment le Grand prix des Scènes nationales d’ébènes d’Afrique Centrale en 2007. En 2011, elle joue les œuvres de Goethe : Iphigénie en Tauride mise en scène par Edouard Elvis Bvouma en 2011 et Faust mise en scène par Martin Ambara en 2012. La même année, elle participe aussi à la création de Mistérioso – 119 de Koffi Kwahulé, mis en scène par Soleima Arabi .

In this museum one will find beautiful crafts and very old statuses that have been for generations. According to the prince of Foumban on a recent interview on the national television, he made it known that, a people without their ancestral and cultural values really cannot say they have a culture, reason why they have been protecting theirs for generation after generation. He added, he is perhaps the 4th generation prince of the Foumban palace, but the statuses of his forefathers could still be found in the palace, whereas that of other palaces have been sold to researchers (Njoya 2020.)

Cameroun- Union Européenne: Un nouvel instrument de la Team Europe pour accompagner l’Entrepreneuriat Jeunes.
La « Team Europe Initiative Investing in Young Business in Africa », fenêtre-Cameroun, a été lancée ce mercredi 21 février 2024 à Yaoundé, en marge des activités de la « Cameroon-European Union Business Week ». C’était au cours d’une cérémonie présidée par le Ministre de l’Economie, de la Planification et de l’Aménagement du Territoire, Alamine OUSMANE MEY et le Directeur Général Hors Echelle et Conseiller à la Direction Générale des partenariats internationaux de la Commission Européenne, Henrik Hololei, en présence du Ministre camerounais des PME, du Chef de Délégation de l’UE au Cameroun, des Ambassadeurs de France et d’Allemagne au Cameroun, ainsi que de plusieurs jeunes porteurs de projets d’entreprises.
L’Afrique est un continent d’opportunités, avec une population constituée en majorité de jeunes. Malheureusement, ceux-ci font face aux problèmes de chômage et de sous-emploi. C’est dans le but d’enrayer ces problèmes que la Team Europe vient de mettre en place une nouvelle initiative dénommée « Team Europe Initiative Investing in Young Business in Africa ». Son architecture a été présentée lors de la cérémonie de lancement officiel. Pour Henrik Hololei, cette initiative qui s’inscrit en droite ligne de l’engagement de l’UE à l’endroit des pays africains, vise à investir dans les jeunes entreprises portées par les jeunes en Afrique. « Elle devra s’appuyer sur d’autres initiatives similaires en cours, menées avec des résultats forts éloquents sur le territoire camerounais par certains pays membres de l’UE dont la France », a indiqué l’Ambassadeur de France au Cameroun, Thierry Marchand.
« La nouvelle initiative arrive à point nommé et marque un jalon supplémentaire indispensable au développement de l’écosystème entrepreneurial national », a souligné le Ministre camerounais des PME, Achille Bassileken III pour qui, les solutions apportées par la « Team Europe Initiative Investing in Young Business in Africa », sont en phase avec les orientations de la SND30. En effet, la Stratégie Nationale de Développement 2020-2030, place le secteur privé au cœur de la transformation structurelle de l’économie nationale. Dans cette dynamique, la jeunesse, qui représente près de 70% de la population camerounaise, est au centre des attentions des pouvoirs publics. Le nouvel instrument offre ainsi à la jeunesse camerounaise, l’assistance technique dont elle a besoin en termes d’encadrement, de préparation et d’élaboration des documents de projets (business plan) ; l’assistance financière à travers des dons en phase de démarrage des activités et un accompagnement vers des financements commerciaux plus tard. Selon le Ministre de l’Economie, « cette initiative donne aux jeunes hommes et femmes, qui ont des initiatives dans les différents secteurs d’activités prioritaires pour le développement de notre pays, la possibilité de s’adresser à ce guichet qui se veut ouvert, avec pour ce qui est du Cameroun, des orientations stratégiques fortes : digital, agro-industrie, services, infrastructures ». Le #Minepat a ainsi invité les jeunes camerounais désireux de participer au développement de leur pays, à saisir les opportunités qu’offre ce nouvel instrument.

Calabash CEO Wax Dey speaks out regarding the issue between #Gasha and Eddy Kenzo and some possibilities that Gasha can get her royalties.
He wrote, “Many people don’t realize that music is an intellectual estate just as land is real estate, and in many instances, intellectual estate can be far more profitable than real estate in the short and long term. But just like real estate, it needs to be handled formally like a business. You can’t sell or buy land with a verbal agreement.
I feel really sad that our sister has had to go through what she has gone through. Please stop tagging me. She knows how to get to me if she wanted to.
Let me explain a couple of things for the benefit of all artists. A recorded song has 2 components - the Master and the Publishing. The Master is the actual recording which is being sold and the publishing is the composition (lyrics, melody, arrangements)
I have read both sides of the story and this is what I have to say:
1. Whoever paid for the recording owns the Master, that is the right to sell the song. This is tricky because if Gasha paid for the recording then it belongs to her, but if Eddy Kenzo did, then it belongs to him, even if she is the artist. If Gasha released the song in 2015 and by mutual agreement, Eddy Kenzo release it on his own platforms a year later, it implies that they might have agreed to share the Master rights (in that order). Usually, you’d expect either party to get a cut of each other’s sales, but in the absence of a written agreement (split sheet), this becomes complex and difficult to resolve. To be fair, I’d say that #Eddykenzo had to pay sales royalties to Gasha from the sales of his album (which were substantially more than Gasha sold) and vice versa. So yea, I believe Eddy a Kenzo owes Gasha some money, even in the absence of a written Agreement. The complication now arises from how to enforce it without a written agreement or in this case, his word against her word.
2.publishing is composition money you get paid when your song is streamed on Tv, radio, public venues, streaming sites or even cellphones. If someone else remixes the song, you still own their publishing. Publishing wise, they both wrote their verses. They both should share the royalties. A share should also go to who arranged the song, and the lion’s share should probably be reserved for who wrote the hook + their verse. Again, there is no split sheet, so these are issues that need to be addressed by both teams and agreed on on paper. Somewhere around 2015, I did sign a publishing deal with Gasha which was applicable retrospectively (meaning that Calabash could go in search of her publishing money and enforce the receipt thereof), but in 2016, she requested to rescind the contract, and I did not object. But it is her right and she should protect it ASAP. In Zangalewa’s case, they were not even aware, so I took it upon myself to find them and sign a publishing deal which permitted us to work on it.
Also remember this: for every sale or digital sale, even for Callertunes, you still earn a publishing royalty. So she needs to go down the rabbit hole and look for all those earnings, and while fighting, make sure that they are protected now. The song has a long lifespan. Some of those incomes should have been controlled by Gasha even if Eddy Kenzo released on his channel. Unless they had an agreement that he would claim her rights and he did. Even so, he would have to pay her her cut.
These issues are complex and it’s best to work with a lawyer or someone with knowledge when doing collaborations. You cant blame Artists for the situations - I doubt even Eddy Kenzo understood what he was doing at the time. I even have a case with a big company such as MTN now where they do not understand what is use of a split sheet on music they paid for.
And as I said, both artist teams need to establish or enforce a written agreement now because the song is still active and earning revenue. Online hype is good, but it doesn’t get money in the bank.

Cameroonian singer #Gasha and Eddy Kenzo collaborated in 2015 on the #chill hit song. Eddy Kenzo demanded $1000 for the collabo and Gasha paid. After recording the song, Eddy Kenzo said Gasha can buy his voice, rights and everything about the song for another $1000. Gasha and team agreed, paid everything in America.
They recorded the song, produced the video and had a mutual understanding to upload it on Kenzo's YouTube channel since he had a bigger audience.
It's been 9 years since the song was uploaded, it has recorded 5.1M YouTube views but Gasha has never seen a dime from it.
The most painful part of it is that #Eddykenzo claimed ownership of the song and uploaded it on all his streaming platforms. He went as far as including it in his album and has been making millions of it.
Gasha complained and they did nothing about it. They've never gotten back to Gasha with stats or ROI of the project.
I believe this is disrespect and theft. Theft and disrespect not only to Gasha but Cameroon as well. We have that responsibility to defend and fight for our own. This fight is also for the respect of our country.
Let's join and make the whole Africa, Uganda and world know how dubious this guy has been to a fellow artist.
I call on all platforms, influencers, media personalities, every Cameroonian to use their influence in making Eddy Kenzo comply or exposed since they've ignored Gasha for 9 years now. GASHA deserves what Eddy Kenzo has been sitting on for 9 years. Let's make this happen.

Fredia "The Cheetah" Gibbs (born July 8, 1963), is an American former professional martial artist, kickboxer, and boxer who competed from 1975 to 2005. During her kickboxing career, she held ISKA, WKA, and WKF World ******* les. Before her kickboxing career, she was an All-American in basketball and track.
She is also a model and actress. Fredia has been featured on the Fresh Prince of Bel Aire with Will Smith. She was one of the women who was throwing Will Smith around in his nightmare. Her latest film is called Knockout."
Gibbs made history when she became the first African-American female Kickboxing ISKA World Champion. She earned the name "The Most Dangerous Woman in the World" after an upset in 1994 in her fight against World Champion Valérie Wiet-Henin of France in the "Battle of the Masters" Pay Per View Event in San Jose, California. She went on to become one of the most dominant champions of all time, and remains a significant historical figure in light and super lightweight kickboxing divisions. She competed from 1991 to 1997, amassing a record of 16 wins, 0 losses, and 15 KOs, and three world ******* les. She also competed as a top contender in women's professional boxing from 1997 to 2005 with a record of 9 wins, 2 losses, and 1 draw.

“Being bullied is such a terrifying experience, especially for a child,” Fredia said. “[We] are just trying to learn our identity and learn who we are; to be threatened and quartered by kids who are supposed to be your classmates, whom you help with homework, it was uncomfortable, ugly and very negative.”
As she ran home to escape her bullys, her uncle Dr. William Groce, met her at the door this last time. “Look, baby girl, you can’t continue to run all of your life. You’re going to have to learn how to stand firm and face your fear(s),” he advised.
Gibbs began her instruction in Jeet Kune Do/Aikido fight style at Quiet Storm Martial Arts School in Chester, Pennsylvania. She learned martial arts to rebuild her self confidence and self esteem, which suffered as a result of being bullied. She was trained with her Uncle Will and by a group of lethal martial artists, lawyers, judges, doctors, business leaders, and blue collar workers. Earning her black belt was the unorthodox result of throwing powerful jab combinations and mastering tactical takedowns to obtain the glittering key on the ground behind Groce, the only way out of The Storm.
“It was tough. It was difficult but, I got the key. I unlocked the door and walked out.”
KIDNAPPED
In 1993, Gibbs martial arts training saved her life. She had lost her paycheck and bus fare in a game of Dominoes at a gathering in Inglewood, Calif. Strapped for cash, stranded and wanting to sleep in her bed instead of the couch she was offered, Gibbs accepted a ride from Lonnie Franklin Jr. after spending hours playing against him. She had no way of knowing her Domino opponent was California’s infamous Grim Sleeper, the serial killer responsible for murdering at least 100 Black women in South Central, displacing their bodies throughout Los Angeles circa 1985.
Now with him in his RV, something sinister in his sudden need for coffee awakened her intuition as he pulled into a secluded area. She refused to let him "violate" her. She tried to exit the passenger’s side door. The handle had been removed. When she scrambled for the van’s rear doors, she came face-to-face with a monster intent on violating, then adding her to his list of lifeless victims.
“He came charging at me like a football player...” She explained the aikido technique that uses an assailant’s clothing against them. “I tied his shirt over his head, pulled his pants down and grabbed his... so he couldn’t move,” demanding that he tell her where his keys were.
With her second key to freedom in hand, she told Grim, “When a "b" says, ‘No,’ she means, ‘No.'”
Gibbs was terrified and called her mom. She moved away from the Los Angeles area immediately.

In 1994, Gibbs’ meteoric brawling record warranted an invitation to compete in a pay-per-view International Sport and Karate Association (ISKA) match-up against Valerie Wiet-Henin, dubbed “The Most Dangerous Woman in the World.”
Wiet-Henin was a formidable opponent renowned for breaking jaws and bruising ribs, a million-dollar baby who did not scare Gibbs.
In the third round, Gibbs said, “My legs began to get weak.” Looking to The Hill from whence her help was to come, she cried out, “Oh God! You gotta help.”
Stitched-up, torn and tattered, she delivered a lethal kick followed by an overhand right to the back of Wiet-Henin’s head, knocking her out.
In addition to becoming “The Most Dangerous Woman,” Gibbs also became the only martial artist except Bruce Lee to have a combat statue dedicated in her honor.
Gibbs has been featured in Black Achievers, Black Belt, Delco Times, Inside Karate, Jet, Los Angeles Sentinel, The Philadelphia Inquirer, Sports Illustrated for Women, and Upscale Magazine.
Her fight gear is displayed at the Sports Legend of Delaware County Museum, dedicated to preserving the history and memory of Delaware County Sports Legends. She is an author, celebrity trainer, philanthropist, motivational speaker, and radio host. In 2016–2017 she was honored and participated in the Orange County Heritage Black History Parade and was nominated to attend the United State of Women summit hosted by the White House.

"EDDY KENZO IS A BUSINESS SHARK, SITTING ON MY MILLIONS"~GASHA.
In 2015, Gasha from Cameroon invited Upandan, singer, Eddy kenzo for a collaboration. She paid for everything, flew the artist from East Africa to Cameroon for his voice and video shoot. The ***** le of the song is #chill , a hit song which later on became a classic. Gasha said she paid $2000 dollars for this collaboration and owned the song 100%.
Gasha trusted Eddy Kenzo and team to do the distribution and bring back the royalties garnered from this huge project. The song amassed huge numbers on several streaming platforms. The song is currently on more than 5 million YouTube views. A rough calculation as per the streams only on YouTube stands at $8,393, which is approximately 5M FCFA. This is just for YouTube alone and there are other platforms where the song was distributed.
Gasha thought the Pan-Africanism and musical chemistry they shared at the time will make Eddy Kenzo respect their agreement. Surprisingly, Eddy Kenzo is sitting on all the income generated from the chill song.
It's been almost 10 years and Gasha is still to receive a dime from him. Gasha has run out of patience after the efforts made by her were snubbed. 🥺

It didn't end there as she also made several revelations in an interview via Dash Media TV.

In 2015, Gasha from Cameroon invited Upandan, singer, Eddy kenzo for a collaboration. She paid for everything, flew the artist from East Africa to Cameroon for his voice and video shoot. The ***** le of the song is #chill , a hit song which later on became a classic. Gasha said she paid $2000 dollars for this collaboration and owned the song 100%.
Gasha trusted Eddy Kenzo and team to do the distribution and bring back the royalties garnered from this huge project. The song amassed huge numbers on several streaming platforms. The song is currently on more than 5 million YouTube views. A rough calculation as per the streams only on YouTube stands at $8,393, which is approximately 5M FCFA. This is just for YouTube alone and there are other platforms where the song was distributed.
Gasha thought the Pan-Africanism and musical chemistry they shared at the time will make Eddy Kenzo respect their agreement. Surprisingly, Eddy Kenzo is sitting on all the income generated from the chill song.
